Gavina, MSHR President & CEO I am now 54 years old.  It seems like the older I get, the closer I am to the end of my life here on earth.  It is a fact that I have already come to accept and embrace: everybody goes, everything vanishes. But here are some lessons I have learned so far:   1. When I was young, I never thought about detours or changes to my path. I thought that if I were to work hard, and with a little bit of luck, I would get to my chosen goal.  But as I got older I realized it was, and is that much more important, to remain flexible and open to changes . Life has thrown some pretty interesting challenges my way, some even instigated by me. So many of us have experienced changes to the way we thought life would work out leaving us feeling like all that we worked towards when we were younger really did not prepare us for what was to come. And while it seems the stakes are even higher when we advance in age and the appetite for risk see...
